“5 Symbols on The Camino (James 2: 14-26)” by Fr. Michael Sparough, S.J.

Fr. Michael Sparough recently took a group of pilgrims to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain, which is also referred to as the Way of St. James. Many spiritual insights were experienced by those on this journey.

Fr. Michael applies these ‘ah-ha’ moments to our daily lives through the 5 symbols that each pilgrim can see on the Camino walk.  One of the greatest lessons to learn is “You must look for the signs along the journey!”

Another lesson we must apply to our daily lives is that we often carry a lot of unnecessary baggage with us along the way. We need to let go of what is not helpful for our journey.
