This Scripture reading from Mark’s Gospel speaks of the end of times, when tribulation will fill the earth. The sun will be darkened, the moon will not give light, and the stars will fall from the sky! Just when all seems lost, the Son of Man will come in the clouds with great power and glory!

Then Jesus stresses that no one knows the day or the hour, except for the Father.
