“Blessed are Those Who Mourn” by Fr. Michael Sparough, S. J.

This week Fr. Michael Sparough shares the second Beatitude, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

Fr. Michael confirms that life is hard. He quotes from the book “The Road Less Traveled” about the difficulties of life. Once we accept this truth that life is hard and acknowledge our pain, we can then bring it before the Lord.

When we learn to embrace our mourning, we can truly be comforted. Just click on the arrow to hear Fr. Michael’s inspiring words:

God Bless You All!

These homilies that Fr. Michael has given and the retreats that are being shared are a gift to each of us who were unable to attend the original. Thank you for posting these and maintaining this dream of Fr. Jim and his blog. Fr. Michael is a natural follow up for Fr. Jim and his talks.
