This Sunday’s Gospel from Mark highlights the time of Jesus’s early ministry, when Jesus called his first disciples from their fishing nets. He said to them that He will make them ‘fishers of men.’ Andrew, Peter, James and John answered the call and became Jesus’ first followers.
