This Sunday’s Gospel is from Matthew. Jesus shares the parable of the master who gives his three servants ‘talents.’ The first servant was given 10,000; the second servant was given 5,000; and the third one was given 1,000. The first and second servants doubled their talents. Unfortunately, the third servant was fearful, so he burned the 1,00 talents given to him.
When the master returned, he questioned the three servants. He was very pleased with the first and second servant, and rewarded both of them. When the master asked the third servant about his 1,000 talents, the servant had only excuses as he handed the 1,000 talents back to the master. The master became angry with him because he did nothing.

God BLess You All!
This sermon touched my heart today. Where much is given, much is expected. I am resolved to do better. I believe Satan’s greatest tool is to keep us busy and distracted. I also personally struggle with fear. I know I must overcome this and come out of my comfort zone. I can’t wait for morning as I am writing this at 10:30p.m. I will make a difference in someone’s life tomorrow and hopefully everyday after. Thank you for sharing these words from Father Willig.
