“Come to the Feast (Matthew 22: 1-14)” by Fr. Jim Willig

This Sunday’s Gospel is from Matthew. Jesus addresses the chief priests, elders and a crowd once again sharing a parable. This one compares the reign of God to a wedding banquet that a king gives for his son.

A great feast was prepared, but those invited ignored the invitation given to them by the king. Some even killed the king’s representatives who delivered the invitation. So the king responded by sending many to destroy their farms and villages. The king then sent his servants out to the crossroads to invite all who were willing to come.

This parable can be very confusing. Fr. Jim explains its meaning and applies it to our lives. Just click on the arrow to hear his inspiring message.

God Bless You All!
