“Respect Life (Matthew 21: 33-43)” by Fr. Jim Willig

The Gospel for this Sunday is again from Matthew. Jesus shares another parable about a man who owned a vineyard and allowed tenant farmers to take care of it. These tenant farmers decided they wanted to keep the land and the grapes. So they not only killed the land owner’s representatives when they arrived to claim the owner’s portion of the harvest, they also killed the owner’s son. They now believed they would own the land.

Violence is a cycle that continues to escalate in our world. This was true during the time of Jesus and it is still true today. Just click on the arrow to heart Fr. Jim’s inspiring words:

God Bless You!
