“Yes, Lord, I Love You! (John 23: 1-19)” by Fr. Jim Willig

The Gospel study chosen this week is from John. It is the time following the Resurrection when Jesus appears to the disciples while they are fishing. Jesus calls them to cast the nets again, and following His orders, they catch 153 fish.

Then on shore, Jesus calls Peter. He asks Peter three times, “Do you love me?”  Fr. Jim points out that Jesus gave Peter the chance to counter his three denials.

This Gospel lecture is one of great emotion. Fr. Jim shares his cancer journey using this Gospel in a very personal way. Just click on the arrow to hear Fr. Jim’s testimony:

God Bless You!
