“Cure of the Blind Man (John 9: 1-41)” by Fr. Jim Willig

On the fourth Sunday of Lent, this Gospel of John addresses the man blind from birth.  Jesus’ healing of this blind man serves as a model for all Christians in accepting Christ as our Savior and Redeemer.

The disciples raised the question, “Was this man born blind due to his own sin or the sin of his parents?” Jesus loudly refuted this thinking. “Neither his parents nor this man have sinned!” Jesus did not come to condemn the world, he came to save it!
