This week’s Gospel of Matthew continues with the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus clarifies that He did not come to abolish the law of Moses, but rather fulfill it.
Fr. Jim unfolds the words of this Gospel passage, explaining how it is meaningful in our lives today. For example, “Thou shalt not kill” is not only referring to murder. It is also addressing the times we act out in anger, which can destroy another with our words or deeds. One does not have to murder to commit the sin.
