Thomas from Doubter to Believer (John 20: 19-31) by Fr. Jim Willig

The Gospel this week is from John. These verses cover the second time when Jesus appeared to the Apostles in the upper room. This time Thomas was present. Jesus directed him to touch the holes in his hands, etc.  Thomas then cried out that he truly believed.

The story that Fr. Jim tells in this recording is about another Thomas. He too is an unbeliever until he has his own spiritual experience due to illness. This is a very emotional bible study, because Fr. Jim gave this lesson just a few months before his death. He compares himself to this second Thomas. It is not only eye-opening, it is soul changing for all who hear.
