“Resurrection (John 20: 1-9)” by Fr. Jim Willig

This Sunday is Easter, and Fr. Jim gives an inspiring reflection on the Gospel of John focusing on Jesus’ Resurrection. This Gospel is the first report of the Easter Story highlighting the empty tomb.

As Fr. Jim unfold this Scripture, he highlights how the apostles and disciples took some time to believe that their Messiah had truly risen from the dead, and also learn whoever dies with the Lord, rises with the Lord.

Sharing his story of saying Mass in Jesus Christ’s tomb of the Holy Sepulchre Church in Jerusalem, Fr. Jim was given the gift of these incredible words: “After every Good Friday, there is an Easter Sunday.”

God Bless You!
